1. Privacy Approach
Arclade is designed around local ownership of customer documents and local AI processing. Online services required to operate accounts, payments, licensing, downloads, email delivery, updates, website delivery, security, and analytics necessarily involve limited online data.
Arclade seeks to collect and retain information reasonably necessary to provide these services, protect them, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain transaction records.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- email address;
- optional display or account information;
- account creation and login timestamps;
- account status; and
- administrative or access status where applicable.
Authentication Information
Arclade may process information necessary to send and verify temporary login codes. Temporary codes may be stored as protected hashes rather than readable codes and may include expiration, use, and attempt information.
Purchase and Billing Information
- selected plan;
- purchase, renewal, refund, or cancellation status;
- Stripe customer identifier;
- Stripe Checkout session identifier;
- subscription identifier;
- payment or invoice identifiers where applicable;
- transaction timestamps; and
- links between billing records and an Arclade license.
Payment-card information entered through Stripe is processed by Stripe. Arclade does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers in its licensing database.
License and Device Information
- license identifier;
- plan and license status;
- expiration or renewal information where applicable;
- protected license-key representation or key hint;
- activation information;
- device identifier or device hash;
- device software/version information; and
- device activity or last-seen information.
Legal Acceptance Information
- the customer or account associated with the acceptance;
- whether legal acknowledgment was provided;
- the applicable legal-document version;
- the associated checkout or transaction;
- the acceptance date and time; and
- records reasonably necessary to demonstrate what terms applied.
Communications
If you contact Arclade for support, billing, privacy requests, bug reports, or other assistance, Arclade may retain information you provide as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain an appropriate record of the communication.
3. Local Documents and AI Data
Arclade is designed so that the customer's primary document library and local AI processing occur on customer-controlled hardware.
Normal use of local document and AI features is not intended to upload the contents of your document library to Dillon Leto. Arclade may communicate externally for account, licensing, email, installation, update, dependency, website, security, or other online functions without uploading the customer's document library to the Operator.
If you intentionally send a document to support, configure an integration, or use an external service that receives content, that information may leave your local system.
4. How Information Is Used
- create and operate customer accounts;
- authenticate users;
- process and document purchases;
- create and administer licenses;

- manage subscriptions, refunds, and cancellations;
- send transactional, authentication, account, security, and service emails;
- detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- maintain system and security logs;

5. Service Providers
Stripe
Stripe is used for payment processing and subscription-related functions. Information provided through Stripe is subject to Stripe's own privacy practices and terms.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare is used for website, network, Worker, storage, security, and related infrastructure. Internet traffic delivered through Cloudflare may involve processing of network and request information needed to deliver and protect Arclade services.
Resend
Resend is used to deliver transactional email such as authentication codes and may be used for purchase, license, billing, account, and service messages. Information necessary to deliver an email, including the recipient address and message content, is transmitted to the email provider.
6. Cloudflare Web Analytics
Arclade uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general website traffic and performance. This may include aggregate information about page visits, referrers, browser or device characteristics, geographic region, and website performance.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is separate from Arclade's local document and AI processing. Arclade does not use the analytics beacon to upload the contents of your local Arclade document library.
7. Advertising and Sale of Personal Information
Arclade does not sell personal information and does not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers as part of the current service.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Arclade may use cookies or similar browser storage reasonably necessary for account authentication, session security, preferences, or member portal operation.
9. Email
Arclade may send transactional or relationship emails including login codes, purchase confirmations, license information, copies of applicable agreements, billing notices, cancellation or refund confirmations, security notices, important account notices, and software or service notices related to an existing Arclade relationship.
10. Data Sharing
- to service providers necessary to operate Arclade;
- to payment providers for billing;
- to email providers for message delivery;
- when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, or abuse;
- when required by legal process or applicable law;
- to protect the rights, security, property, or users of Arclade; or
- in connection with a future business transfer, subject to applicable law.
Arclade does not sell customer document contents.
11. Data Retention
Temporary authentication data is retained only for the period reasonably necessary for authentication, security, and abuse prevention.
When an account is closed or a verified deletion request is approved, ordinary account and device information that is no longer required will normally be deleted or de-identified within approximately 30 days.
Limited transaction, billing, license, legal-acceptance, refund, cancellation, fraud-prevention, security, accounting, and legally required records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer when required by law, an active dispute, legal hold, tax requirement, chargeback, fraud investigation, or another legitimate legal obligation.
Third-party providers may maintain information under their own retention schedules and legal obligations.
12. Account and Privacy Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of personal information associated with your Arclade account by contacting privacy@getarclade.com.
Arclade may take reasonable steps to verify that the requester controls or is authorized to act for the account. Where reasonably possible, information that is no longer needed will be deleted or de-identified.
Certain limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for accounting and tax records, payment and transaction history, refunds and chargebacks, evidence of contractual or legal acceptance, fraud and security prevention, license enforcement, dispute resolution, or compliance with applicable law.
13. Security
Arclade uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect account, billing, licensing, and other information. No internet-connected system or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers are also responsible for securing their own computer, email account, license information, backups, and local Arclade environment.
14. Children
Arclade is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for purchasers legally capable of entering into a contract. Arclade does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13.
15. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or additional information about how personal information is handled.
16. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Arclade's technology, service providers, business practices, or legal obligations change. The effective date and Legal Version identify the applicable version.
17. Privacy Contact
Privacy questions and deletion requests may be sent to privacy@getarclade.com.
